After watching the Senate for the past several days I've come to the conclusion that John McCain has made a backroom deal with Bush. In return for his passionate support for amnesty, Cheney will step down after the mid-terms and McCain will replace him as V.P. This would allow him to be assured a place on the ticket. I see the ticket as follows.

McCain/gonzales

Clinton/menendez

I think I'm gonna vote for Leroy Jones, a garbage collector in south Mississippi, then set back and watch how these ass kissing senators start babbling how they've known him for years, what a great president he'll make what great ideas he has and about the great leader he's gonna be. What a bunch of nitwits.

I think most of the time write-in votes are the only honorable choices.

McCain/Gonzalez sounds like nightmare to me.

Right now I don't see any potential candidate I would vote for except maybe a few who wouldn't even consider running in the first place. The good one's would be smeared to high heaven.

you are only one person to the world...but you are the world to one person.

you're right. and not only that nobody but nobody - nobody stands a chance unless they look good on big-money tv. and big-money tv has a way of making people look bad at will. as long as americans are putty in the hands of the tv- masters, there is no reason to be optimistic about getting a good leader for the United States.

I believe it may have been George Washington who was asked what he was loyal to and he responded with the following priorities:

1 - his god 2 - his family 3 - his nation

nowhere on that short list is the United States listed. When he referred to his nation he meant the American nation. The American nation is a completely different thing from the United States. The United States is merely a political institution that serves as government. The United States is obviously now a corrupt institution dominated by an evil clique that is in fact anti-american.

I'm not counting Gore out.

Gore/Dodd ticket...

In any event, it shall be a fun ride.

Gonzalez, is an illegitimate Bush Child.

You can see it in his face, his eyes, his voice, and his mannerisms. He's a member of the Bush Family by GENETICS.

Just like Clinton was part of the Kennedy Family by Genetics.

What's that Mr. Nipples? You want me to ask the nice lady about her rack?.

It's way too early, but Warner/Obama looks like a pretty good bet.

I'll bet they already know who will be taking the oath of office in January of 2009...unless the Chinese nuke us first, of course.

I've sat back and watched for such a long time...not much else to do. I wonder if the threat of nuclear devastation is not just that - a threat to keep all folk scared witless so that they'll defer docilely to those PTBastards who meet annually at various international hotels to decide how best to further enrich andcomfort themselves. They know better than to use nuclear bombs...
