Would he be held in custody during the appeals process? Could Trump be held without bail at his booking? Notice that this happens on National Trans Coming Out and National weekend of vengeance. The case for extradition has to be presented to the judge where the person in question lives which is Florida.

That WAS NOT the answer I was looking for, Dawg. I decline to answer on the grounds that it might incriminate myself. In NY? Are you kidding? You are absolutely right. They will have anti Trump judge that doesn't give a wit about the law. And, don't be surprised if the appeals court is the same. Likely, they will ignore every appealable issue and return the appeal with one word: DENIED. Trump may have to appeal again to higher court. And, by then the election is over.
