According to Rock Island Auction's description of the rifle, it fires a 1750 grain bullet at 1350 feet per second. That's a muzzle energy of only 7081 ft lb. Seems pretty low, so I suspect those numbers are wrong?
The .460 Weatherby Magnum produces a ME of 7389 ft lb, and the .50 BMG twice that.
