HIV Origin Found: Negro Sex With Chimps Cause Jump To Humans Posted by admin on: 2006-05-27 The origin of HIV has been found in wild chimpanzees living in southern Cameroon, researchers report. A virus called SIVcpz (Simian Immunodeficiency Virus from chimps) was thought to be the source, but had only been found in a few captive animals. Now, an international team of scientists has identified a natural reservoir of SIVcpz in animals living in the wild. The findings are to be published in Science magazine. It is thought that people hunting chimpanzees first contracted the virus - and that cases were first seen in Kinshasa, in the Democratic Republic of Congo - the nearest urban area - in 1930. Scientists believe the rareness of cases - and the fact that symptoms of Aids differ significantly between individuals - explains why it was another 50 years before the virus was named. Paul Sharp, professor of genetics at the University of Nottingham said: "It is likely that the jump between chimps and humans occurred in south-east Cameroon - and that virus then spread across the world. "When you consider that HIV probably originated more than 75 years ago, it is most unlikely that there are any viruses out there that will prove to be more closely related to the human virus." He said the team were currently working to understand if the genetic differences between SIVcpz and HIV evolved as a response to the species jump. This team of researchers, including experts from the universities of Nottingham, Montpellier and Alabama, have been working for a decade to identify the source of HIV. While SIVcpz was only identified in captive animals, the possibility remained that yet another species could be the natural reservoir of both HIV and SIVcpz. It had only been possible to detect SIVcpz using blood test - which meant that only captive animals could be studied. This study, carried out alongside experts from the Project Prevention du Sida au Cameroun (PRESICA) in Cameroon, involved analyzing chimpanzee feces, collected from the forest floor in remote jungle areas. This was useful because University of Alabama researchers had been able to determine the genetic sequences of the chimpanzee viruses - which could then be searched for in the fecal samples. Lab tests detected SIVcpz specific antibodies and genetic information linked to the virus in up to 35% of chimpanzees in some groups. All of the data was then sent to the University of Nottingham for analysis, which revealed the extremely close genetic relationship between some of the samples and strains of HIV. Chimpanzees in south-east Cameroon were found to have the viruses most similar to the form of HIV that has spread throughout the world. The researchers say that, as well as solving the mystery about the origin of the virus, the findings open up avenues for future research. Keith Alcorn of Aidsmap said: "The researchers have pinned down a very specific location where they believe the precursor of HIV came from. "But there are vast areas of west Africa where other forms of SIVcpz lineages exist, and the possibility remains for human infection. Media Link

I kinda doubt people had sex with chimps.. this I do not buy.. It's well known that in Africa people use chimps as a food source.. the ingesting of infected meat .. is the source IMO.. just as with flu viruses .. the reason so many begin in the far east is because birds such as ducks live in such close proximity to humans and they ingest human cells and then the virus mutates..

This is a myth, and an urban legend. Africans ate chimps; that's how the virus made the jump, if it made it at all. The first known case of someone dying of AIDS was in St. Louis in about '67. A black transvestite/prostitute died of an unknown dieases, his tissues were frozen, and decades later, when tested, the AIDS virus was in him. The virus has probably been around for thousands of years. It apparently only affects homosexuals because of sodomy and drug abuse, IV drug users because of drug use, and almost no one else. The key determinants appear to be destroying your immune system though horrendous drug abuse, and injecting the virus directly into the body through IV use and homsexual sex.

And inaccurate. There's nothing in this article or any others on the subject that even hints at this. The BBC and other sources said back in 1930 from butchering.

Randy Martin Shilts was born Aug. 8, 1951, in Davenport, Iowa, but spent most of his youth in the Chicago suburb of Aurora. His father, Bud, sold prefabricated housing, while his mother, Norma, saw that Randy and his four brothers grew up as solid Methodists. Early on, Shilts appeared to share his parents' politically conservative views; in high school, he founded a local chapter of Young Americans for Freedom. He went west for college, choosing the University of Oregon in Eugene and beginning his journalism career on the student paper. At age 20, Shilts declared his homosexuality, and later ran for student office under the slogan "Come Out for Shilts." Of course, I'd rather have a few more T-cells and a little less character." Credited for his foresight about the danger of AIDS, Shilts died just days after a report that showed that the annual number of new AIDS cases in San Francisco peaked at 3,326 in 1992. City health department officials, who expect the number of AIDS cases to decrease dramatically by 1997, credit aggressive prevention efforts for the trend. Shilts is survived by Barbieri, who was beside him when he died; four brothers, Gary, Reed, Dennis and David, and his stepmother, Pat. Funeral services have not yet been scheduled.

He was merely the delivery device. He picked it up somewhere and spread it. Still originated in Africa which is a real sore point with blacks who claim it is just another of whiteys lies to dis blacks. It was isolated to small parts of Africa until roads were put in which helped populations to move around. The gays resistance to any counter measures ensured a solid foothold in the West.
