I was way ahead of my time when I built my house 45+ years ago.

The absolute widest point up my stairs to the bordello is 21.5". The minimum now, that I finally figured out how to do handrails, is 18". It's close for me now at 200. Back in the day, we used to call them "No-Go" gauges.

I can get stupid with chickie-poos, but not too stupid. I suppose I could pull my truck out of the garage and lay some moving blankets down...
