US President Biden declares a state of emergency due to the threat of power shortages

US President Joe Biden has declared a state of emergency due to the threat of a shortage of electricity generation capacity for American consumers. This was reported on the website of the White House.

“I, Joseph R. Biden, Jr., <...> declare the existence of an emergency due to threats to the availability of sufficient electricity generation capacity to meet consumer demand,” the document says.

As the American leader pointed out, the problems in the energy markets caused by Russia’s special operation to protect the Donbass, as well as climate change, have affected the threats to ensure sufficient electricity production for the United States.

To address the problem, Biden, in particular, exempted certain solar cells and modules imported from Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand and Malaysia from import duties for a period of two years.

On June 2, the head of the financial corporation JP Morgan, Jamie Dimon, said that the US economy would soon be covered by a real “hurricane”. According to the financier, in a critical situation, US residents will only have enough stocks for six months, and after that everyone will have economic difficulties.

In addition to rising electricity prices in America, food and fuel prices are also rising. In particular, on May 31, the American Automobile Association (AAA) reported that the price of gasoline in the United States has updated its historical maximum and amounted to $4.622 per gallon (3.785 liters). At the same time, a year ago in the US, the price of gasoline was $3,046 per gallon.

On April 15, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak, speaking about the anti-Russian sanctions of the West, noted that “deficit and rising prices for fuel and electricity, provoked by inflation, can lead to a further increase in the cost of living in the EU and the USA, as well as mass unemployment.”

Even though this article is dated, it shows us the Bidette has succumbed to the need to totally control people.

This State of Emergency is all that is needed to suspend the Constitution.

Well, as everyone knows, including Biden, the best way to deal with electrical shortages is to mandate more electric car usage.

I saw a Tesla Charging Station up north at a gas station not far from where I go for doctor appointment. But I imagine you need a credit or debit card to use them. ;)
