If you wish to get out of the funny money Federal Reserve System, you can get into the Liberty Dollar. It is an alternative currency that is 100% backed by Silver on deposit in a private vault. Several years ago there was a small town in Northwest Arkansas you could go to and trade your FRNs for Liberty Dollars. Then you could go around town and trade them for goods and services.
