If you wish to get out of the funny money Federal Reserve System, you can get into the Liberty Dollar. It is an alternative currency that is 100% backed by Silver on deposit in a private vault. Several years ago there was a small town in Northwest Arkansas you could go to and trade your FRNs for Liberty Dollars. Then you could go around town and trade them for goods and services. Then when ready to leave you could trade remaining Liberty Dollars back to FRNs. I was a distributor for them a long while back but was not able to keep up with it. Liberty Dollar was put out of business, but von Nothaus has resurrected it. ;)
