James Webb Telescope's New Discovery is 'Shattering' Our Understanding of Big Bang. The universe that originated from the big bang, according to the cosmic inflation theory, is behaving more mysteriously than ever before. We now have identified galaxies in the early universe that are leaving scientists dumbfounded. And that is all thanks to the James Webb Space telescope, which, with its infrared detecting prowess, is changing the game. Top theoretical physicist Michio Kaku explaining the conundrum that we found ourselves in at the moment. And not just him, even the famous astrophysicist and science communicator, Neil deGrasse Tyson, is stunned.

The Big bang was never anything but a religion for atheists.

I wouldn't agree with that. It certainly is agreed the universe was created *somehow*. Why would a big bang explanation be contrary to any religious belief? Doesn't the Big Bang theory adequately reflect the "Let their be light" verse from Genesis?

Mike Rivero called it a religion even before we had evidence to disprove it. Their theory required belief in invisible dark matter.

It hasn't been disproven. What's stated in the video does not in any way disprove the big bang theory as a general model for the method the universe came into existence. All it does is show that some aspects of it are not as well understood as previously thought. It could be that galaxies were able to form sooner than belived, or it could mean the universe is a bit older than believed. Or it could be that time itself moved at a different pace back then than it is now which distorts the perceived timeline.

Or maybe there's simply something about the movement of light in that early time that isn't properly understood. There are numerous possibilities.

If evidence turned up of galaxies that would be, say, twice as old as the accepted big bang period, then that would be a far, far bigger challenge to the BBT.

Or if it's all completely wrong, when what is the Christian / Religious explanation for universe creation? If the big bang theory is not an expression of "let their be light" then what would be?

On the balance though, I would say those that simply accept a written religious explanation of whatever type are generally not burdened with accepting evidence based challenges to it, and the video does illustrate that prominent names in the science community are.

Their theory required belief in invisible dark matter.

Dark matter need not be some kind of magical element. The name is simply created to describe it and does not denote anything particularly unusual among the sub-atomic substances. That not any more than historians refer to the "dark ages" as something magical, as that just denotes a period of time when records of events are scarce due to the lack of any real dominating civilizaton that kept records during that time.
