The crowd at the 2023 Indianapolis 500 was expected by race officials to be one of the biggest in race history, and so far it has not disappointed. Indianapolis Motor Speedway President Doug Boles said earlier this week that it would be nearly sold out, with about 230,000 tickets sold. And that was not counting the Snake Pit or infield.
