“We Remember Our Dead”

On Memorial Day here in the United States, we remember our dead who gave that last full measure to preserve our freedoms and our liberties in a country that is full of opportunity and abundance. We remember the sacrifice, the courage of those brave souls to sacrifice their lives in the pursuit of some noble cause. Whether it be freeing Europe from the clutches of tyranny twice, or trying to thwart communism and socialism from destroying good people and enslaving them, our dead are on nearly every continent having died for an ideal that is elusive and beyond our comprehension.

I myself have not known anyone who has died in the course of any war, but I have known people who died on a battlefield that they returned from. They stopped being that person they once were, and became someone else entirely when they came home. The magic and the naïveté of innocence wiped away leaving only the true face of what they were at their core. I’ve met plenty of good and bad people who have served this country who came home different, broken and otherwise changed and for their sacrifices and all their hardships they came home and made the the best of their lives after as what they had experienced on their worst days, made every day after it a gift, and worth living.

We talk about patriotism and other things on the Fourth Of July, but on Memorial Day, we talk about honor, and honoring those whose sacrifices have given the rest a sense of peace and security. We talk about how those deaths should not be in vain. We talk about how we should enjoy our lives as tomorrow is never promised, and it certainly wasn’t promised to those who laid down their lives for everyone else. When I think about where my country is headed, would those people be so willing to lay down their lives for a government and a people such as ours today?

Would the greatest generation have sacrificed so much in order to make sure that we stayed in a perpetual state of fear of what the government is going to do next? Would they throw those lives full of promise away so that the media can brainwash, gaslight, and lie to the American People about everything every single moment of the day? Would they allow their own flames to be extinguished just so pedophiles and creeps could have unfettered access to our country’s children? Would they have given their last breath to protect a country from foreign enemies only to have their government pay for illegal migrants to come across the border in numbers that are greater than a lot of American Cities?

While we are honoring our dead today grilling burgers, and having a beer in their honor, think about how those sentinels of freedom and liberty are looking at what this country has become and ponder whether or not their honor is respected when drugs, gangs, and the idolization of thugs like George Floyd push aside the reverence we used to have for this day. In Minneapolis and in our media, George Floyd is far more important to talk about than the dead who fought actual oppression and tyranny. Imagine if you will, if our government had simply given fentanyl to our warfighters and had them die on camera. Would they have generated so much outrage?

On this Memorial Day I am remembering those valiant dead, and the even more valued living who sacrificed their innocence so that they could live in a country being destroyed by people with absolutely no value or benefit to the United States of America. I am remembering those who wrote that blank check to the government only to have it cashed by their government that sold them out. I am looking at my phony leaders today, the ones who pay lip service to things like Honor, Fidelity, Truth, Justice and all things bound by our Constitution. I am remembering those who do not have the voice or the words anymore to speak truth to power on this day, that their sacrifices will not have been for nothing. To my so called leaders and so called honorable politicians. You owe the people of this country, the living and the dead your honor. Stop destroying the country with lies and deceit. Stop allowing our country to be invaded, and destroyed by people whose sole aim is to undermine our Constitution and our liberty, You people make a mockery of the dead, and the dead shall not have it. They speak through time itself about what it means to be honorable, no matter how despicable the propagandists might make it sound. Those with a love of country, and a love of their fellow citizens who sacrifice themselves for the preservation of life, are to be remembered as the truly honorable people who once existed.

They died so you could have your fantasies of tearing down monuments to people who never oppressed you. They died so you could pretend that you are one of 146 genders and are more interesting than you really are. They died so that medical doctors could lie to us, murder our friends and family for the benefit of profit on behalf of a big pharmaceutical company that every representative in this country is invested in. Those veterans died so that you could press one for English and not know which bathroom to use. Their honor was sacrificed so that your vote no longer mattered, and your phony leaders could show you once and for all everything they, our soldiers sacrificed themselves for is going to be wiped away, because you were too fucking scared to stand up. You were too fucking scared to be called names, or be canceled by cowards and those lesser creatures incapable of being truly honorable.

I am writing this for my brother who came home a different person, whose person sacrifices put him on a journey that I could not even comprehend and he is one of those honorable men of which I speak. For him, and for all my brothers out there, I celebrate this memorial day. May their sacrifices not have been in vain.

May the dead speak to us through deeds and words today, of being Americans proud and true. God Bless America.
