Well, as several people here are already aware, I'm not really an engineer. I'm the king of Spain.

An aerodynamic issue with having the entire engine spin with the prop was that it created enormous gyroscopic forces, making it very difficult to turn in one direction but super easy to turn the other. It was something for pilots to adapt to for WW 1 fighter aircraft.
I never thought about that much. My buddy Jess had a Cessna 310? twin, I suppose the props (rotating mass) counter rotated to mitigate that effect, but his prop weren't probably 500 lbs. each. Turn too sharp, and one wing separates to the left and the other one cuts through the cockpit. Cessna made a pusher/puller twin-boom recon aircraft (don't remember the designation) during the Vietnam war. I wonder how those props spin? I hate it when Ecuadorians make me think too much (says the guy who's living in what was supposed to be a storage unit) :P You're OK, Pin. Skymaster That was a cool aircraft. The MDs told my wife I wasn't going to survive, and if I did, I'd be a braindead invalid. She filed for divorce the next day. I got clipped for $2 million+.
My shitbag lawyer wanted to go after granny's crap $10k house in the Meadow Ghetto in New Haven after five years. It would've cost me more to tear it down than what it was worth. I never saw the gal, I told Blackburn, "End this now!" after five years or so. I feel bad about what that gal went through. Fucking accidents happen. Janice whatshername is probably dead by now, and it's my fucking shitbag lawyer's fault. FWIW, I got $20,000 dollars. I give more away than that every year. She filed for divorce the next day. There was not enough in my account to pay it. She was forced to close CD early and take the penalty. I am going to get back all the $30 monthly fees she took from me. My little 48 y/o Godson is getting sued by Goldman-Sachs over a predatory loan. That happens. I guess it's $7k. penalties are about $50k. Lawyer time, $4k. It just fucking is what it is. Yeah, right. my fairy tail did not go the same way.
