It is not just diesels in trucks, but also in farm equipment. How will these new emission standards effect the farmers?

When we were kids in grade school in Chicago in 1960s, the teacher was asking everyone what they wanted to be when the grew up.

When it was my turn I said, "A farmer." All the other kids laughed.

But back then you could make a profit and raise a family on the farm. Nowadays you need to go into hock to buy farm equipment. ;)

Hemp was at one time a cash crop in the U.S. since Manila rope was unavailable because of the Jap invasion of the Philippines during WW II.

As far as I know the hemp still reseeds itself from year to year along ditches in Indiana where it was once grown for commercial purposes. ;)

How Dare He!

Yeah, him and brain-dead nurses at the wound treatment clinic I go to every week.

Now it seems last Friday was this doctor's last day there. This coming week I will only be seeing the nurses.

I just might switch my Primary physician and go with one that has his office just off the square here in town. I was told he is more open minded about alternative treatments. And then I can get a discount on things from the local pharmacy.

Plus there is a store on the square that I was able to obtain some essential oils and a roller ball applicator to treat the wounds myself. ;)
