#1. To: Horse (#0) Slave sellers and buyers are not White They never were white. In the old days one tribe would sell captives from another tribe into the slave trade. Many of those slaves were bought up by whites and sent over to the U.S. Thomas Jefferson freed all his slaves early on long before the abolitionist movement started in the U.S. There were even slaves in Delaware and Maryland. But Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation only freed saves in the rebellious states.
