Numerous Republicans are vying for the nomination. At the moment, Donald Trump is in the lead. But anything can happen. Many believe Gov. Ron DeSantis is the man for the job. He helped turn Florida around, turning it into a solid red state. Now, he is on the campaign trail, stirring up support for his candidacy. During a recent event, he set his sights on one of America’s biggest threats. And he has a plan to shut them down. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis said during an interview on Wednesday that the U.S. needs to become economically independent from China and that he would be willing to use tariffs to force the communist nation to change. [Source: Daily Wire] DeSantis is vowing to use tariffs to free America from dependence on China. At the moment, much of America’s manufacturing is happening overseas in China. Countless factories and jobs in the U.S. have been lost, as companies outsource to the communist nation. Part of DeSantis’s plan is to get China in line, with heavy tariffs. But haven’t we seen that before? Trump used tariffs to confront China’s economic abuses. But DeSantis says Trump didn’t go far enough. On Monday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis made a fundraising stop in Coalinga, California, speaking to 60 donors at the Harris Ranch. During his luncheon talk, which cost $3,300 per person, the GOP presidential candidate said that the tariffs placed by former President Donald Trump, who has consistently polled in first place among the Republican candidate field, on China were “not effective,” according to GV Wire. [Source: The Post Millennial] DeSantis claimed Trump’s tariffs against China were “not effective” in stopping the communist nation’s dominance over international trade. Trump hit China with tariffs on steel and aluminum, but little else. China continues to make most of the products being sold in the U.S. It appears DeSantis plans to do more to pull America’s economy out of China’s hands. His attack on Trump hits right at the heart of one of Trump’s major presidential talking points. Trump long criticized China for taking so many of our jobs. And he vowed to bring many back, championing the “Made in America” motto. But DeSantis is accusing Trump of failing to do that. Can DeSantis do more to bring back manufacturing jobs to the U.S.? China has built big cities but there is nobody living in them. They are doing this in an attempt to get people out of the countryside. But those people need jobs if they move to an urban area. Trump never figured out that he needed to go to war with the Establishment. He let Pompeo into his admin. He was gong to appoint Bobby Kennedy Jr to the CDC but withdrew the nomination after his donors complained. Bobby could have saved trillions of dollars and tens of millions of lives by saying No to Covid and lockdowns. Trump and DeSantis are Zionist Israel Firsters. Trump wants to take on Iran. He is an idiot and he is dangerous. But DeSantis is an Israel Firster too.
