National News See other National News Articles Title: War against the White Guy: The Arbery affect On February 23rd, 2020, Travis McMichael, fearing for his life was forced to shoot and kill Ahmaud Arbery. McMichael and his father Greg did their best to peacefully converse with Arbery but as they drew closer, an enraged Arbery would immediately charge them. Travis, who brought a shotgun for self-preservation and defense against a gun-wielding perp, had seemed to trigger an imposing Arbery. Immediately, Travis was viciously assaulted by Arbery who was now desperately wresting the weapon away. As the video will confirm, that’s the moment McMichael discharge the weapon and mortally wounded his attacker. Obviously, an enraged man with a history of violent crime and mental illness only wrestles a gun from someone so he can shoot them. (and possibly embark on a violent and senseless killing spree.) The reason neither of the McMichaels was initially taken into custody was that authorities determined it was a textbook case of self-defense. Their peaceful suburban neighborhood was reeling from a recent crime spree and this was the 2nd time that Arbery was noticed needling around a house under construction. The following video is Wanda, Arbery’s momma as police informed her what had happened. As a parent, it's sad to watch, but she goes on to tell the interviewer that her son would never rob a place in the daylight. She’s inferring that he was too smart for that shit but obviously, he was casing the joint. The state-run media ran a voracious campaign against the McMichaels because they were white whereas Arbery was black and this was during the height of the George Floyd brew ha ha. They conveniently omitted anything incriminating about Arbery, like the laundry list of his prior offenses and the severity of the charges.
