Those foolish enough to believe there is no basic difference between Republicans and Democrats on illegal immigration, should study the results of the vote on HR 4437. That measure passed the House in December 2005, focused on border security and included no guest worker provision. The numbers: Yea No NV GOP 203 17 11 Demo 36 164 2 Ind 1 TOTALS 239 182 13 Once again, as with the senate bill, Demos voted for Mexico, against the US! Of course we Democrats are for secure borders! As soon as we get enough illegals in to vote for Democrats in 2008, we will want the border shut down!

Exactly- its just that more democrats than republicans are worthy of being excreted!
The 2-party system depends on a fresh supply of proletarian voters, people that will easily trade votes for legal priviledges. This is especially true since US voter support for mideast wars is seriously lagging, requiring new voters that are eager to trade votes for privileges. Mexican hispanics are recognized by the 2-party system to be underpriviliged or disadvantaged, as they are designated members of the establishment victim culture. Proletarian-victim cult voters are a feedstock for maintaining 2-party totalitarian rule at the federal level. The only minor difference between reps and dems is one of emphasis, as the 2 parties agree on all fundamentals. Dems emphasize the victim-cult bolshevik nonsense, and reps emphasize militant jewish-Israeli bolshevism.
Yes, and we should recall that it was the Republicans who set the agenda that allowed the Democrats to vote on the matter in the first place. The Democrats cound never have done it on their own. We should also remember that it is the Republican party that is keeping the measure alive. If they wanted it to die, it would be dead tomorrow -- and there would not be a damn thing the Democrats could do about it.
