Now, police have released the video of the "callous" fight in hopes the public can assist in locating the suspect. The Broward County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Unit released a video of the fight on Thursday. A 63-year-old man reserved VIP seats at the AMC theater in Pompano Beach on July 10. When he got to the movie theater with his wife shortly before 10 p.m., there was a man and woman sitting in his seats. A preliminary investigation by the Broward County Sheriff’s Office Violent Crimes Unit noted the victim politely asked the man and woman to leave the reserved seats. The Broward County Sheriff's Office said the suspect became "hostile, standing up and aggressively getting in the victim’s face." The suspect got physical with the moviegoer and caused him to fall onto the stairs in the aisle of the theater. The suspect is seen on video wildly punching the 63-year-old man repeatedly. The suspect only stopped attacking the victim when several witnesses rushed to stop the fight. The suspect and the woman accompanying him left the movie theater but were caught by surveillance cameras. The victim suffered several injuries to his head and face, according to police. He was rushed to a local hospital for treatment. The Broward Sheriff's Office called the fight the man's "worst performance at the movies." The suspect could face charges of aggravated battery.
