(s)Elections See other (s)Elections Articles Title: Bulbous Scum-Sucker DeSantis Falsely Claims Joe Brandon Won the 2020 Election Meatball “Ron” DeSantis claimed on Monday that Joe Biden won the 2020 election. This pretty well seals his fate – as if it wasn’t already sealed. There is a very big difference between how this campaign started out: “I’m basically just like Trump, except I’m younger and more competent. I like Trump too, and agree with him on everything, but vote for me and I will be more effective at implementing the Trump agenda than Trump was.” And how it is going: “Joe Biden and the Democrats are right – I condemn Trump and his dangerous conspiracy theories. We have to embrace the values of our democracy.” You wouldn’t think this guy would be able to get any worse, but there you go. I don’t even understand how something like this happens. There is surely no single advisor, anywhere, who would tell him he could become more popular by claiming the 2020 election was legitimate. Did he just do this as a spur-of-the-moment thing during the interview, because he is that incompetent and anti-social? Either way, there is a 100% chance he is now going to try to do some kind of course correction, and explain, in some way, that he didn’t really mean what he said. However, what that does is remove his ability to continue to be vague on the issue. The best play – the very obvious play, which I think anyone would advise him to do – would be to say: “Look, there are a lot of people who have a lot of legitimate questions about the 2020 election, and when I’m president, I’m going to put together a commission to look into the irregularities of that election, and get to the bottom of what happened.” Very, very simple. And it is a very easy line to hold – if you get pressed, just keep repeating that you think it needs investigated. You don’t have to say “it was fraud,” you just have to make people believe you think that, and believe there is going to be some kind of reckoning. Instead he goes out there, gets pressed, and says “the Democrats and the media are right – it’s all real!” The most astonishing thing about Meatball is just how incompetent he is. It is like, whenever there are a series of moves he could make, he always makes the wrong one. DeSantis knows for a fact that mail-in ballots cause elections to lean, drastically, toward Democrats. Even if you somehow don’t want to say that means there is fraud, he himself proved this in 2022, when he banned mail-in ballots and not only he, but all the Republicans running at the state level, won by incredible margins, vastly different than those in states that allowed mail-in ballots. His anti-mail-in position is actually a really good talking point. If he wanted to attack Trump on the 2020 election, he could actually say “Trump should have done more to stop mail-in ballots. I stopped them in Florida in 2022, but Trump was allowing Fauci to run the country during the 2020 election.” This is just all obvious. Maybe I’m very smart. I think I am reasonably smart.
