(03/29/05 - DURHAM) — A Durham high school teacher is accused of making inappropriate advances toward a 16-year-old female student. Kara Hill, 30, surrendered to police yesterday, posted bond, and left the Durham County Courthouse in a hurry Tuesday morning. Hill is charged with two felony counts of taking indecent liberties with a student. Warrants allege both incidents happened late last year at Northern High School, where Hill teaches P.E. and English. The accuser is a 16-year-old girl. Hill is suspended with pay as the investigation continues. She will appear in court again in May. Durham Teacher Arrested on Felony Charges

AH.. interesting 'friend' the teacher had with her.. wasnt exactly expecting her victim to be a female student.. geesh..
I tend to be suspicious of women PE teachers and basketball coaches
Looking back at my HS PE teacher.. she was well overtly 'athletic'..
