Cancer killed both of my sisters at the age of 59.
Not sure how they tried to fight it.
But if they had been aware of Dr. Otto Warburg and his work during WW II to find a cure for cancer they might have been able to beat it.
Warburg was Hitler's personal physician. Hitler had polyps on his vocal chords when young and was deathly afraid of cancer. Warburg was studying cancer and was awarded the Nobel Prize for Medicine for his work.
Bur Hitler refused to allow him to pick it up because of the war. If he never picked it up, he forfeited and it was awarded to someone else.
