after being taught to steal by 'THEIR PARENTS' in modern-day Oliver Twist Children as young as eight are being taught to commit crimes by 'their parents' and have been reportedly ransacking businesses in New York City.
In what's been dubbed the modern day Oliver Twist, the New York Post reported that the young crooks have been terrorizing bars on the east and west of Manhattan and Brooklyn for months.
A typical crime spree will vary from kids snatching cash from unattended bags to stealing cash from open safes with two businesses hit in the past two weeks.
In the first instance children try to solicit money under the guise of raising funds for their sports teams, for example, before fleecing their targets for anything they can find.
Most disturbingly, business owners told the Post that they've seen adults waiting for children outside the targeted businesses.
