The Dioxin levels at East Palestine Ohio are same as Times Beach Mo. The latter was evacuated but not the former. Biden has not signed an emergency declaration.

My cousin's half-sister lived in Verona way back when. Too long ago to recall any dates, but I would guess in the 80s.
I've lost touch with those people long ago. Out of the two boys that were my cousins, the younger of the two had a stroke and is in a wheelchair. The older one moved from NYC to San Francisco. He says he likes the weather out west better.
Their Dad was running a cigarette vending route on south side of Chicago. One day he was going down a side street on near south side and three black guys stepped out in front of him. One of them had a pistol. He floored it. They put four rounds in left rear of truck, driver high.
His boss was mad the stock got town up. He said, "Screw that! The stock saved my life." But he is dead for a longtime now.
His one son told me when he died, the cops went in where he was living and they were carrying guns out by the basketful. He was a gun collector but made o plans for posterity. What would happen to his guns if he died.
He carried a .32-20 on him when he drove the cigarette route. He told me once this black kid tried to steal some stuff off the back of his truck and he was shooting at him. ;)
