I knew a nurse like this. I met her at my nurse GF's funeral after she #diedsuddenly 26Sept2021. She approached me at the funeral and asked if I was Jim. I told her I was. we chatted briefly and I gave her one of my Company cards. I didn't hear from her until her shift was over Thanksgiving night, actually about 0000 the next morning. She wanted to see me so I gave her the address and we spent the next year and a half or so together.
She wasn't happy being in the Covi Killing Zone at hospital city. I helped her find a logistics company so she could be with her family for the first time in 12 years or so. The last time I saw her was 9Feb2023 when she came by to say goodbye and drop off my keys on her way to Lithuania.
A couple weeks after she got home, her father Skyped me and let me know that Aleena died in her sleep of an apparent heart attack a few days shy of her 31st birthday. My last words to her was, "Go home and start a family."
She didn't listen, she went home and died.
Anyway, this is how she got her nickname, McMurphy. I had to retire a bunch of my black T-shirts. The tear stains faded the right shoulders after a while.
If I didn't believe there was more to life than this earthly existence, I'm not sure how I'd cope.
Don't worry about me. I'm too big of a coward to commit suicide. I do some work with .orgs to prevent suicide, like The Til Valhalla Project and help folks with PTSD. As many times that I've almost been killed, there must be a higher reason for me to hang around.

Pretty rough there, guy.
Not as rough as it was for Aleena's father. He really set me back when he told me "I knew she'd be safe with you in Ft. Wayne."
I didn't even know that she was here. I suppose with his connections, he watched every step I took since Aleena came here on a student visa so long ago. I haven't been able to reconcile that whole deal yet. I only remember meeting him in a bar in whatever country and talking to him a lifetime ago. He was asking a lot about my hometown and the colleges. I can't remember his face, but I'll never forget his voice.
These gals are kind of a composite of Aleena "McMurphy." The first gal is a little thick, I never saw the look of terror of the gal in the second video's thumbnail. My Murph had the thousand yard stare goin' on.

Murph certainly never wore slutty hoop earrings, nor did she wear much makeup. I only saw her twice in street clothes. At Daria's funeral, which I don't remember much about, and the day she left, in jeans and a T-shirt, not one that was 10 sizes too big, like mine were that she slept in.

I kinda regret not having pics of Daria, McMurphy and Ramette, but the relationship I had with a gal from 2014-2018 ended really badly and I didn't want my phone reminding me of it everyday.
I really regret not taking pictures of my sister and one of her contractors bringing me my clown car (2010 Mercedes Smart Car) to me on a lawnmower trailer from Chicago a few months ago. That was the funniest thing you'd ever see. He was a nice guy, a young vet, a little messed up. He'd have to be to be associating with my sister. j/k
I probably shouldn't talk bad about my sister. The police get all pissy with me if I don't lock my gates. They don't want a replay of 2008 when I blew a bad guy's head off that attacked me. That was a mess. I refused to talk when arrested after I got out of the hospital after MRIs & shit.
