IMO, prophecy being fulfilled... keep hoping and praying and "occupying until He comes", but everything seems to keep pointing to this...and look around...seems to have already begun...

A DEFENSE OF ARMAGEDDON or Our Great Country Foretold In The Holy Scriptures
By F. E. PITTS of Nashville, Tennessee
In two discourses delivered in the capitol of the United States, at the request of several members of Congress, on the anniversary of Washington's birthday in 1857...
Editors comment: As you read keep in mind that this sermon was preached 80 years after we became a nation and 4 years before the civil war.
There are always two sides.
Rev. Pitts and other clergymen of times past claimed that God established the United States in 1776 in fulfillment of Bible prophecy and that these united 13 colonies, now 50, are "the mountains of Israel" mentioned in Ezekiel 38.
Modern radio and TV evangelists disagree. They say, "The nation called Israeli established in 1948 by The United Nations in Palestine, that nation is the fulfillment of Bible prophecy.
Who is more correct?
Where and who are the "mountains of Israel" mentioned in Bible prophecy? Who will be invaded in the end-time? The United States or Palestine?
The "mountains of Israel" are the single Israeli nation in Palestine.
- OR -
These "mountains of Israel" are the fifty United States in North America. ..."
"...The United States of America is the nationality that is promised in the prophetic Scriptures to arise in the latter times as Israel Restored. It has long been a favorite theory, both with Jewish and Christian writers, that the nationality to be gathered together in the latter days, was understood to mean the returned or restoration of the scattered sons of Abraham to the land of Palestine.
We are not surprised at the confidence with which this opinion has been entertained from age to age, because it is a legitimate a priori interpretation, seeing this nationality is called "Israel" by the prophets.
In a conversation had with a venerable Bishop of the Episcopal Church, he inquired of us: "Sir, by what construction of language do you make the great nationality, promised to arise in the latter times, to mean the United States? That the Bible authorizes us to expect such a nationality there can be no doubt; but how do you make out that nationality to be the United States of America, as it was promised to be Israel?" To which we replied: "Beloved Bishop, the predictions of the prophets are put up in Hebrew dress; the regalia is Mosaic, the custom is Israelitish. They did not say, friends of civil and religious liberty, Americans, or even Christians; but they used the best terms they had on hand: they said 'Israel.'"..."
"...Hosea also saw that Gods anger against His people would not last forever; He would provide a renewed Israel who would serve the Lord faithfully (vv. 212; see 2:1423).
That hope for a new Israela true Israel that would embody all that God called Israel to bepersisted across the centuries into the New Testament era. This hope was finally fulfilled in the incarnation of Gods true Son by nature, Jesus Christ. Matthew tells us that Jesus fulfills Hosea 11 (Matt. 2:1315). He is the true Israel, the faithful Israel who succeeds where old covenant Israel failed..."
"...The good news of the gospel tells us that we can be the true Israel of God as well. If we are in Christ, we share in the privileges and relationship He enjoys as Gods true Son. We are not sons of God by nature; rather, we are sons of God by adoption, His beloved children in Christ. As such, we inherit all of the promises given to old covenant Israel. Those promises of God that Israel would rule over her enemies and enjoy abundant covenant blessings (for example, Isa. 14:12)those promises are for all of Gods people, the true Israel of God consisting of Jews and Gentiles who are united to Christ by faith alone. In Him we are the true Israel of God, heirs of the glorious destiny promised to Gods old covenant people (Zeph. 3:1420)."
Galatians 3:16 Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ...
Galatians 3:29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

The House on the Rock
(Luke 6:46-49)
Matthew 7:24Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
