Israels bombardment of Gaza since Saturday has dealt a significant blow to civilian infrastructure in the enclave, with more than 1,000 buildings completely or partially destroyed, according to local officials.
Some 13 residential buildings containing 159 housing units have been destroyed in the bombing since Saturday. About 1,210 housing units were partially damaged, with 36 becoming uninhabitable.
More than 123,000 Gazans have been displaced by Israel's bombing campaign, the UN said early on Monday.
Gaza's exhausted healthcare system has come under fire during the assault that has killed almost 500 Palestinians, with healthcare facilities and ambulances damaged in the bombardment.
