When I lived in Illinois, I knew this guy who owned a Harley. He sold it for $50,000 and blew it all up his nose doing coke.
His Mama was still alive back then in Custer, S.D. and he left for there driving an old Pontiac.
But when I lived in Palatine, IL, the cops had a listening post set up in an empty apartment in the building next to mine. They tapped the phones on 20 or so Mexicans for dealing dope. Every night at Midnight a cop would show up to pick up reports. They busted a bunch of them.
Those are old stories I am lucky to recall because of the Meningitis. ;)
