After borrowing $1 trillion in calendar Q3, the US is preparing to borrow another $1.5 trillion in calendar Q4 '23 and Q1 '24, or a total of $2.5 trillion, and that's only for 9 months of the calendar year Poster Comment: SEE CHART. I define deficit as the addition of US Treasury debt.I think we will hit $3 trillion this fiscal year which began 10-1,2023 due to higher interest rates. The NYSE should tank before April 2024 which will give huge tax losses to deduct from next year's taxes. I would also a lot of student loan forgiveness and even tax cuts and freebie giveaways during 2024 which is an election year.
