Israeli warplanes attacked a truck in Zahrani, in the south of Lebanon, 40 kilometers from the border, breaking all red lines in Lebanon after it attacked Syria.
Reports coming in from Lebanon say this is "the most serious escalation in hostilities in many years" and "its consequences are critical; more than the eye can see."
The complete lack of secondary explosions seems to indicate the truck had nothing of any military value on it. So why, then, did Israel attack?
