My apologies for the late post. I have been on the road all day driving to the East Coast of Florida and then back. I have not had a chance yet to listen to what Nasrallah said today. More important than Nasrallah’s sermon was the emergency meeting of leaders from more than 50 nations who, on short notice, scampered to the Arab-Islamic Summit in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The gathering included Syria’s President Assad alongside his former nemesis, Turkey’s President Erdogan, and the leaders of Iran and Saudi Arabia sharing the stage. The unity demonstrated by the Arab and Muslim leaders as well as their vocal outrage over Israel’s unrelenting attacks on Palestinians in Gaza should be a wake up call to Israel and the United States.
