One of New Jersey’s main teachers unions is calling for the end of the basic skills test for certifying teachers.

So how do kids learn if their teachers are idiots? In Florida, Black teachers scored lower on skills test then their White students.

I don't know, but in the 5th grade in Chicago, that Nun drilled the arithmetic tables into our heads, and I can still do them and then some.

Now kids use calculators and know nothing about making change since the cash register does all the work for them.

Strangely enough, in Illinois the Chicago Teachers Union was the only one that did not post a loss. The State Employee Retirement System was forced to cut benefits to their members by 20% since the fund made poor investments. ;)
