I remember reading the original eyewitness accounts like "I was a Sonder Kommando for the SS." All laughable BS. All those accounts were withdrawn because they were ludicrous. Men walking into gas chambers full of cyanide gas without gloves and gas masks 5 minutes after hundreds gad died from cyanide.

That one's a real buzz kill. I suppose WWII was a "holocaust", just not quite as advertised. Whatever my dad saw in the Philippines, he took to his grave with him. He never talked about his experiences except for his regret of not being able to attend his HS graduation. He was a stoic man, and I was the one that had to hold the flashlight for him.
