The California gold rush started in 1848 at Sutter's Mill near what was to become the city of Sacramento.
Once news of this reached San Francisco 4,000 med went to the American River looking for gold.
From what I have seen 750,000 pounds of gold was extracted from that area.
Now these freaks want to mess with kids toys. I think we have long been overdue for a revolution, but my former boss at work says people have lost their courage. :-/
