For $1,100 a month you could live in an unfurnished apt in a 75% Mexican town only 110 miles south of SF. At commute time it would take an hour at $5.50 a gallon to drive to San Jose. You could save on gas money and get into a mixed neighborhood in San Jose where the schools are sh*t for $2,205 a month. Studio with a whopping 281 sq feet.
