The Biden administration announced a new $250 million weapons package for Ukraine that the White House said will be the last until Congress approves new spending for the proxy war.

The arms package uses the Presidential Drawdown Authority, which allows the US to ship weapons straight from US military stockpiles. The Pentagon still has over $4.1 billion in PDA funds for Ukraine but lacks the funds to replenish the arms as US stockpiles have been significantly depleted.

White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said last week that once the new arms package was announced, “We will have no more replenishment authority available to us, and we’re going to need Congress to act without delay.”

Ukrainian commander confirms difficult situation on eastern front

The Ukrainian armed forces are in a difficult situation in four areas of the line of engagement in the conflict zone, Commander of the Ukrainian military’s ground forces Alexander Syrsky said.

"The situation in the east remains difficult," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

The military official pointed out that due to the intensive actions of the Russian armed forces, the Ukrainian army is experiencing difficulties in the Artyomovsk, Krasny Liman, Kupyansk and northern areas.

At the beginning of last week, Syrsky also stated that the situation in the east was difficult for the Ukrainian forces. On December 25, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu announced the complete liberation of Maryinka in the Donetsk People’s Republic at a meeting with President Vladimir Putin. The next day, Ukrainian top military commander Valery Zaluzhny confirmed the Ukrainian army's withdrawal from the town.

Is this a BRAND NEW package of aid or is the one that is currently tied up because of our border concerns?

Because I am not giving another dime to a government that will take my tax dollars and waste them on protecting the borders of foreign nations while leaving the border to this country unprotected. I am sick to death of the bullshit that republicans and democrats are up to. NO MORE MONEY TO FOREIGN COUNTRIES UNTIL WE CLOSE OUR OWN FUCKING BORDER.

I know that Zelensky has sent half a million Ukrainians to the grave in this war of attrition.

But the Russians have 10 million Chinese illegals in eastern Russia and can do nothing about it. ;)

Not at all. Zelensky has sent half a million to the grave. An entire generation wiped out.

Plus, four eastern provinces of Ukraine have voted to join the Russian Federation. Under the U.N. rules of self-determination they can do that.

But the Uke's are bringing a taste of the war to Moscow with explosive drones. ;)
