At least 1,600 Israeli soldiers show symptoms of combat stress reaction and 250 were discharged from service for this reason, according to Israeli media.

The Israeli news website Walla reported on Tuesday that “symptoms of battle combat stress reaction have appeared on at least 1,600 Israeli soldiers since the start of the ground operation in the Gaza Strip about two months ago”.

According to the report, “the symptoms can appear during or after an activity, and the soldiers can feel, among other things, rapid heartbeat, sweating, a sudden increase in blood pressure, uncontrollable body shaking, confusion, and inability to move.”

Cancer Patients in Gaza Denied Medical Treatment Health Authorities

Over 10,000 cancer patients in Gaza are currently denied the necessary medical care following the forced closure of the Palestinian-Turkish Friendship Hospital, due to the ongoing Israeli aggression, the official Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.

The Palestinian Health Minister in Gaza said that cancer patients there are enduring unbearable and inhumane conditions, lacking any access to specialized cancer treatment medications.

The third and final floor of the Palestinian-Turkish Friendship Hospital, the only hospital in Gaza for treatment of cancer patients, was targeted by Israeli airstrikes by the end of October, causing significant damage and rendering the hospital out of service.

Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails report surge in torture

Palestinian prisoners currently languishing in Israeli jails have reported being beaten by troops, and threatened with violence if they refuse to kiss the Israeli flag.

The Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported on Tuesday that the latest instances of violence happened at several prisons in northern occupied territories and testimonies were submitted to the daily and human rights groups.

Detainees at Megiddo Prison have reported several cases of harsh violence and abuse carried out by prison authorities. Testimonies are emerging from the prison of severely inhumane conditions, which human rights groups have brought to the Israeli attorney general's attention.

Haaretz, quoting detainees at Gilboa prison, also reported that guards had assaulted, humiliated, and abused them since the regime launched the ongoing war against Gaza on October 7
