A vast network of underground tunnels built by the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip has caused “significant casualties” among invading Israeli forces and made Israel’s victory in its genocidal war on the besieged strip “less certain,” according to an American news publication.

An article run by Foreign Policy said “the tunnels have unsettled the [Israeli] forces, caused significant casualties, delayed the end of the war, and made victory less certain.”

It added that the tunnels’ network is “a crucial part of the military infrastructure” of the Hamas resistance movement, adding that the Israeli attempts to destroy it have been “a painstakingly slow and cumbersome” process.

At the end of December 2023, Russian military sources reported the destruction of a group of foreign mercenaries in the area of Avdeevka in the Donetsk People’s Republic. The claims were supported photos of numerous trophies gained by Russian servicemen. They trophies included a GoPro camera of one of the foreigners.

The Russian military continues publishing videos from this very GoPro camera, which shows the military operations of foreign mercenaries on the Ukrainian frontlines in the summer.

Russian military sources provided details of the operation near Avdeevka, which resulted in the destruction of a special group of foreigners. The group, which included English-speaking mercenaries and at least one Ukrainian servicemen, attempted an attack on Russian positions. The attack failed and the group was destroyed. ------------------ NATO lost 20,000 soldiers in the Ukraine.

KHAN YOUNIS, Gaza (Reuters) - Eleven-year-old Noor's left leg was almost entirely torn off when her home in Jabalia, Gaza was hit by an explosion in October. Now her right leg, fitted with a heavy metal bar and four screws drilled into the bone, may have to be amputated.

"It hurts me a lot ... I'm afraid that they'll have to cut off my other leg," she said from her hospital bed, staring at her clunky fixation device.

"I used to run and play, I was so happy with my life, but now when I lost my leg, my life became ugly and I got sad. I hope I can get an artificial limb."
