I'm home, all cleaned up and wearing a very large UNTIL VALHALLA shirt of Pachound's. He had to explain what Valhalla was to me. I'd never heard of it. He told me it was a country in Europe at first and to look it up. It's hard to tell when he's serious or kidding around.
I'm taking control while he cooks our dinner. We're having pizza. I haven't had to cook since I moved in with Jim before Thanksgiving. I asked him how he learned how to cook. He said it was a matter of survival when his father died when he was 14 and his mother shut down and wasn't cooking for him and his little sister who was Down's and unable to care for herself. His mother was a charming woman when I met her years later. He doesn't agree with me but I know he loved her.
Jim will make a good wife for me. He cooks, cleans, although not very well, does laundry, is honest, makes me feel young again and is straight. My ex can't pass those hurdles.
I wish we could find a nice place to dance somewhere. He told me there's a new place in New Haven but it's too cold to go anywhere tonight so the living room it is. The cocktails of the evening are sugar free red Cool Aid and vodka. He says he's going to introduce me to Purple Drank? when the red stuff is gone.

Apparently the defrost drain tube from the freezer to the drip tray is plugged and somehow ending up under the crisper trays until it overflows. It doesn't look like the drip tray has had any water in it for over a decade. I'm not sure what's it's going to take to fix that, but it look like a hassle. There's no room to work.
No I haven't fixed the Tacoma yet, but it looks like I might've got enough charge in the battery to start it so I can get it far enough away from the tool boxes so I can get to it to get it out. If the batt won't start it, I'll try a jump pack, but I've got a hunch I won't get enough juice to do the job. Last resort is to go get the new battery and use that to jump the truck, but I really wanted to take the core with me so I don't have to make two trips to the battery joint.
Anyhoo, enough of the disco music, except for this one in honor of Danny B. one of the tech guys I worked with in the old days. He was a VN vet that taught me about jungle rot in the old days with the Company. This song enraged him for some reason. He'd pound on his radio bench, it was funny.

Kimmy doesn't like the purple drank with the grape Kool-Aid as much as the tropical punch flavor. I concur, the Burnett's makes the grape stuff kind of bitter.

We're going upstairs to the bordello to hibernate until spring, but I'm pretty sure Little Miss Prissy will be wanting to leave for work Monday when it's 20 degrees below zero.
