I'm home, all cleaned up and wearing a very large UNTIL VALHALLA shirt of Pachound's. He had to explain what Valhalla was to me. I'd never heard of it. He told me it was a country in Europe at first and to look it up. It's hard to tell when he's serious or kidding around.
I'm taking control while he cooks our dinner. We're having pizza. I haven't had to cook since I moved in with Jim before Thanksgiving. I asked him how he learned how to cook. He said it was a matter of survival when his father died when he was 14 and his mother shut down and wasn't cooking for him and his little sister who was Down's and unable to care for herself. His mother was a charming woman when I met her years later. He doesn't agree with me but I know he loved her.
Jim will make a good wife for me. He cooks, cleans, although not very well, does laundry, is honest, makes me feel young again and is straight. My ex can't pass those hurdles.
I wish we could find a nice place to dance somewhere. He told me there's a new place in New Haven but it's too cold to go anywhere tonight so the living room it is. The cocktails of the evening are sugar free red Cool Aid and vodka. He says he's going to introduce me to Purple Drank? when the red stuff is gone.

Kimmy doesn't like the purple drank with the grape Kool-Aid as much as the tropical punch flavor. I concur, the Burnett's makes the grape stuff kind of bitter.
