Acetone is fingernail polish remover.

You don't want to put it in your car; it'll eat the hell out of everything it touches. You don't want the stuff to even TOUCH you.

I've seen these articles before, and all of them are fraudulent.

I'm getting 25% more gase mileage. Women put this on their fingers.

I don't touch the stuff, I dilute it 1.5 oz to 10 Gal gasoline.

You're going to be sorry. It's dissolving your gaskets and 0-rings as I write this.

You're getting better gas mileage because it's cleaned out you fuel injectors. You can get such things at any auto parts store.

I would never put any acetone in my tank -- and this is from a guy whose four- cylinder car has over 280,000 miles on the original transmission and engine, so I know a thing or two about cars. You'd be better off changing your air filter regularly and using platinum spark plugs.

And I wouldnt advise getting it on your auto paint.. it'll take the finish off..

Acetone will destroy the lubricating properties of the motor oil. First clue will be when the engine seizes. I would try this with an old vehicle that is not worth much to see what happens.
