The Ukrainian sniper lines up his shot (Image: Reddit) Dramatic footage captures the moment a Ukrainian sniper takes out a Russian soldier - while the unsuspecting victim pees.
The 11-second video, filmed in a forested area through the scope of the sniper's rifle, shows the Russian soldier relieving himself against a tree.
Meanwhile, the scope scans around the woodland, seemingly for other targets in the area, before taking aim at the soldier.
The soldier's toilet break is abruptly interrupted after he's struck by a single shot from the marksman. He then falls to the ground, seemingly without a sound.
It is unclear when and where in Ukraine the video was filmed.
The footage, released on Reddit, comes as the UK Ministry of Defence reports Russia is suffering almost 300 more casualties ( soldiers killed and a wounded) a day in 2023 compared to 2022.
The MoD defence update, released on Saturday morning, suggests the increase may be due to Russia mobilising some of its reservists in September.
This has led to Russian forces in Ukraine being a “lower quality, high quantity mass army” as a result.
