"Or what if the US government buys it?"

Poster Comment:

Governments here and overseas could design bioweapons to kill specific races or families.

First things first. 23 and Me is actually a holding company co-owned by Richard Branson who entered into a special financing arrangement a few years ago.

Second, none of your information was ever secure. It had a data breach where everyone’s data was exposed. So If you have one of those 23 and Me test results, guess what? Someone already has it, or owns it. The pharmaceutical industry, the FBI, and other law enforcement agencies have had access to any and all data for years.

Saying that this is somehow of national concern, is a joke. Designing bio weapons targeting individuals is truly impossible for the simple fact that everyone is related on some level. Imagine if the Chinese wanted to kill all the non-Chinese people on the planet and they created a bioweapon targeting white people. Guess what happens? A WHOLE LOT OF CHINESE PEOPLE DIE.

My point is that this is another distraction from the fact that this company has been a leaky ship for years and they need to get ahead of the liability curve for when bad things start happening.
