The investigation into allegations of misconduct by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, who is known for her election interference case against former President Donald Trump, was officially initiated by Georgia lawmakers on Friday.
Republican state Senator Bill Cowsert, in the state Senate Special Committee on investigations meeting, revealed that several whistleblowers from the Fulton County DA's office have stepped forward to testify against Willis. The whistleblowers allege that Willis misused state and federal funds. This revelation comes in the wake of Willis admitting to a relationship with special prosecutor Nathan Wade, a relationship that critics have deemed "improper."
