Fact of the matter is those waters could be completely closed to maritime traffic in mere hours. See USS Tripoli and the USS Princeton.

Do you really believe that?

The North Vietnamese managed to kill 59,229 US vets before the US got run off. North Korea didn't go much better before that. I think the body count was similar.

Not to mention however many servicemen died in the bullshit Gulf Wars.

241 Marines, soldiers and sailors died in the Beirut Battalion Landing Team's building (a 4-story reinforced building with a compressed gas accelerated gas explosive) when Israel built the 5th century retards the largest non-nuclear ever detonated until Dumbya W Bush tried to blow the panhandle off Florida at Eglin AFB years later.

You really scored some social credit points with me a few days ago, Rock, when you said the best presidents that you knew were Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump.

I actually was involved in a brief ceremony with RR and Nancy after the Beirut thing, there was about seven or so of us.

My father was in Viet Nam. He was already in the Service before the war and not drafted. I was what you call a military brat.

The leadership held us back in Viet Nam. We could have done more. Should have we. I don't know. The threat of communism was a big threat back then.

I never supported any of the Gulf wars. Not in 91, not in 2002 or 03. Or any of it.

I voted Bush in 88. Perot in 92 because Bush sucked. I didn't like Gore so I voted Bush in 2000. I liked him at first. But I voted Peroutka in 04.

I severely disliked McCain but I voted for him in 2008 because of Palin. I liked her. I still despise McCain. And Megan McCain.

I voted Romney even though I never liked him. I despise him now. But he was against Obama so I pulled the so called lever for him.

Back to 2000. I really wanted Pat Buchanan. But felt like when I voted for Perot in 92 we got Clinton so that was I voted Bush.

And of course Trump in 16 and 20.

Just giving you a little info about what my thinking is.

Well the customary thing is to thank you for your apparent Service.

I didn't really like Nancy that much. The whole witchcraft thing. I was to young to vote for Reagan. The 80's were the best.

I feel like I am in a foreign country now.

So yeah I think if we had a leader who wanted to we could destroy about any country on earth. Especially a rag tag group like that.

When they F with international shipping I have no sympathy for them whatever happens to them.

My father was in Viet Nam.

My father was involved in the Philippines during WWII.

The leadership held us back in Viet Nam.

I know that. The Cold War ended at the beginning of 1992. I was somewhere in Germany when the Berlin Wall started coming down, I don't remember where, Wiesbaden, maybe.

I never supported any of the Gulf wars. Not in 91, not in 2002 or 03. Or any of it.

We're brothers then.
