The European Union is proposing a controversial piece of legislation that would effectively ban the right-to-repair for vehicles older than 15 years old. The aim according to the European Commission is “to renew the car fleet and encourage Europeans to buy new, environmentally friendly vehicles.” Thus, forcing individuals to buy newer cars, and more often while many other individuals will undoubtedly be priced out of car ownership, which will satisfy what is arguably, the real aim, the planned immobilisation of the people.

This has NOTHING to do with the "environment," most of the pollution caused by automobiles happens before it ever leaves the factory (especially with EVs). It's about restricting mobility. Period.

How about we start by banning ALL private aircraft with more than one engine and ALL private aircraft that produce over 400 HP? How do you suppose the "elites" would feel about that? Thought so.

My newest truck is 11 y/o (2013 Tacoma) with 11,000 mi, my "new" car is 14 y/o (2010 Smart) with 89,000 mi, and is in perfect mechanical condition after putting about $6,000 into it after I got it last summer.

Gawd, I'm sick of the bullshit and lies.
