How'd They Get Away with This in Hollywood? Netflix's Hot New Show Highlights the Horrors of Communism

Netflixs latest hit show does what few Hollywood projects before it have ever done it highlights the horrors of Marxism.
The show, 3 Body Problem, debuted on the streaming platform March 21 to rave reviews and generally positive critical reception.
Helmed by former Game of Thrones showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, the series debuted to 81.7 million hours watched in its first four days on Netflix, according to Whats on Netflix.
In one particularly dark scene making the rounds on social media, a struggle session straight out of Maoist Communist China is depicted.
The scene is from the shows opening and shows how dissenters were treated in Mao Zedongs infamous Cultural Revolution, which claimed the lives of a reported 40 to 80 million people.
In the scene, a physics professor is brutally beaten by Red Guards for his failure to conform to the governments beliefs.
Hes effectively cancelled in front of a large crowd jeering at him (a common scene from the Communist movement).
Many of the onlookers are shown waving Maos Little Red Book (not-so- fun fact: the Little Red Book is cited as an inspiration by the founder of the Black Lives Matter movement).
Viewers of the show took to social media to express their surprise that a Hollywood production would actually take the time to highlight the historical evils of leftist regimes.
While every American knows about the crimes of Nazi Germany and Holocaust, few know about the much greater crimes committed by Communism including the murderous Chinese Cultural Revolution. Here is one of the reasons:

I dont know if I expected to see such an agonizingly realistic recreation of a Cultural Revolution struggle session, on Netflix of all places, another user added.
Its one thing to read historical accounts of the Cultural Revolution. To intellectualize it. Its quite another to experience the visceral violation of your conscience from seeing it on a TV screen (@netflixs 3 Body Problem), Singaporeon journalist Melissa Chen wrote on X regarding the scene.
She added: It turns out we have a powerful weapon against the psychology of totalitarianism and tyranny. All we need to do is just show people the raw, unvarnished truth of what the Cultural Revolution was like. Thats the role for todays storytellers and filmmakers.
New All-Female 'Pirates Of The Caribbean' Movie Just Two Hours Of Boats Backing Into Rocks
LOS ANGELES, CA A reboot of the popular Pirates of the Caribbean film franchise will feature an all-female cast backing into rocks for two hours, says Disney.
"Women walk the plank together," a tagline for the film reads, referencing how women should stand together in life and how they always go to the bathroom together for some reason.
The movie is expected to come in under budget thanks to the strategic use of Hollywood's gender pay gap combined with the fact the film only needs one set as the entire film takes place on a ship that has run aground on a section of rocks.
Though the previous film in the series, Dead Men Tell No Tales, ended in a cliffhanger, Disney CEO Bob Iger says it's time to go in a completely different direction and ignore the solid foundation that had previously been built.
"We have a really good, exciting story about women trying to captain a pirate ship," he said. "It has something new to say. About women. Maybe the environment, too. Oh, you know what? Mother nature! That's the ticket. She'll be the villain, but by the end of the movie everyone will learn to respect the environment (and women) and the ship will be set free from the jagged rocks."
"The rocks are a metaphor for men. And big oil."
According to sources, the movie starts with a big action sequence in which the ship backs into a bunch of rocks as the female Jack Sparrow is too busy checking her makeup in her little hand mirror thingie. About halfway through, the women free themselves only to back up into even more rocks.
Rian Johnson has signed on to direct.
"Get ready to be subverted," Johnson said at a special fan announcement.
