6 May 2024, 11:32 pm 11 Israeli protesters in Jerusalem are blocking trucks carrying humanitarian aid from Jordan to Gaza, Army Radio reports.

Right-wing activists have expressed anger at the provision of aid to Gaza while over 130 Israelis remain hostage in the Palestinian territory, and have, at times, attempted to block the aid.

One hostage operation deserves another, I suppose.

Hamas: “We’ll trade you the bodies of 40 of the people we took hostage, for the release of 1000 of our fighters you’ve captured.” Israel: “No deal. We’ll accept your surrender and the release of all the hostages.”

Hamas: “Heartless war-monger!”

American Useful Idiots: “Stop the genocide! Free, Free, Palestine! In our lifetimes! From the river to the sea, Palestine shall be free!”

These are not my words but the words a poster made somewhere.

Well, maybe I'm not a Christian like you, but for some strange reason, I have more compassion than you do for all innocent people, which includes Gazans/Palestinians.

But maybe I'm missing something.

Hamas is what the people of Gaza elected. Decisions have consequences. You're missing the Jews. Like the hostages Hamas took that started their destruction.

So this kid voted for Hamas?

Are you deserving of a similar fate because of what the US -- YOUR country -- did to Iraq & Libya? Over 1 million deaths, countries destroyed & many millions of refugees flooding into Europe? I mean you are personally responsible for what W Bush & Obama did, right?

I think your version of Christianity is the most bloody version I've ever encountered.

War sucks I agree.

His parents voted for Hamas. All the deaths are 100 percent Hamas's fault in my view.

That is why 100 percent of the Palestinians on video cheered when they brought the Israeli women back to rape. A sicko culture.

The kids are innocent for sure. Blame Hamas the terrorist organization.

It is the Israeli governments job to protect their people It is not their fault Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran etc. only wants to kill Jews from the River to the Sea. Iran said it publicly many many times. The Hamas charter says it. The PLO charter said it. They want Genocide for sure. Everyone knows it.

Watchman wants Genocide and he isn't ever over there. He has the same sick mindset.

How do you know who the parents voted for?

Because they all celebrate terrorism. Ok 99 percent seem to. What kind of sick culture does this. Did you see Americans having orgasms when we were killing Iraqis? Do you see Russians celebrating when they kill Ukrainings. No you don't Because they don't have the sickness and hatred that Palestinians demonstrate repeatedly.

Ok 99 percent seem to.

Okay, so you have no freaking idea who this kid is, or who his parents are or who/what they voted for. You endorse collective punishment, of which genocide qualifies.

That's the amazing thing. It's a human, not spiritual quality whereby people can be tricked into believing certain people they do not know deserve to die, and it progresses to the point where they can kill and champion the killing of presumably innocent people with a clear conscience.

I'm not on that boat. I'm more of a Christian than you are.

I thought you said you didn't believe. Congratulations on your new faith.

Just about everyone believes. Even atheists. Only an agnostic could get away with saying they don't.

As for me, I absolutely do believe, based on my experiences and what I consider to be sound logic that God is far better than portrayed by standard Christianity or, especially, any brand of Judaism. Far FAR better. What I believe makes far more sense than the idea that God cares about such petty things as what gov controls a tiny speck of ground on a tiny spec of dust floating in an infinite universe, or cares a single whit what DNA various people have.

There is absolutely no such thing as a "chosen people". It is a fiction created by an ancient people in order to make themselves feel valued, which is a very common psychological desire. And that ancient people's belief in sacred writings -- very much to their cultural credit -- is falsely ascribed as evidence of divine origin. The reality is the overwhelming ability of the human mind to believe things that are not true is why there is so much religious based division.

But no. The truth is far, far better than anything they ever wrote about. It's better than anyone has ever written about.

I agree that's most likely, though blood lines are obviously mixed on a continuous basis so they may have a little bit. I might too, for that matter. How many Israelis even LOOK like they are native to the land? Pretty much the Muslim Israelis and no one else.

If I'm not mistaken, "Jew" is a term derived from Judah, which according to the Bible was only one of 12 tribes.

I say it's a virtual certainty that the people with the most blood of ancient Israel (i.e. "God's Chosen People") are, in fact, all the actual Semites native to the area nearly all of which have been Muslims for most of Islamic history, which includes the Palestinians. Islam did not exist until 300 AD or so, well after Israel so it could never have been expressly demonized as a variation of what we call today Judaism. People simply did not migrate very much until about 120-250 years ago. Both Islam and Judaism have probably mutated a lot over the centuries and in fact the variations we have today in both faiths proves it has. Christianity has too, of course.

How ironic it is that modern evangelicals that believe they are catering to "God's Chosen" of Israel in excusing the complete cattle treatment of Palestinians may in fact be complicit in destroying the very people that have a far greater claim to actually being "God's Chosen".
