Where are they going to park it? At best it will operate for 90 seconds and promptly suck a missile, a missile that is a lot cheaper than your litebrite neonizer.
Can't help but think an ordinary shotgun would be ideal for taking out these small quadcopter drones. Or a model Estes rocket with a 150-500 foot range with some mass produced sensor steering electronics in it to steer it to a dark spot in the sky. Something like that should be cheap to make these days and give to troops.
