The funeral procession for Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi got underway this morning less than 48 hours after his helicopter plunged into a mountainside in the country's northwest on Sunday evening. Thousands of mourners packed the streets of Tabriz this morning flanked by heavily armed guards as Iranian officials and dignitaries delivered speeches, played music and prayed for the fallen president. A heaving crowd then parted to make way for a white truck carrying the coffins of Raisi and his foreign minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian along with seven others who perished in the crash. The bed of the truck was wide open to display the coffins which were adorned with images of the dead and covered in flowers, and mourners were seen running alongside it to pay their respects. Several extended their arms, frantically trying to touch the coffins of the dead, but were pushed away by stern-faced guards. From Tabriz, Raisi's body will be flown to the Shiite clerical centre of Qom later today before being moved to Tehran during the evening. Processions will be held in the capital on Wednesday morning before Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei leads prayers at a farewell ceremony. Raisi's body will then be flown to his home city of Mashhad, in the northeast, where he will be buried on Thursday evening after funeral rites. Khamenei yesterday declared the nation will observe five days of mourning from today following the fatal crash. But the regime was said to be furious that many Iranians at home and abroad were celebrating Raisi's death as social media was flooded with footage of revellers evidently delighted at the news. Raisi earned a reputation as a brutal, hardline executor of Khamenei's will during his presidential term, prior to which he was known as 'the Butcher of Tehran' for his role in ordering the executions of thousands of political prisoners.

The people in Iran seem to know something some folk here don't know. I would say most of them despise Raisi more that you guys do. And they are there and would know.
Just because I think Israel should be dissolved does not mean I think Iran's gov is great. I know you see the world only in terms of pro & anti- Israel, but I most certainly do not.
That would be a war crime. Collective punishment as you say.

That's no war crime. Israel can be dissolved without anyone dying or being harmed at all. It's no different than calling for a revolution or regime change.

If they could just get rid of those damn Jews that would mean that Gods word is a lie and the prophecies in it could not come to pass.

Which brings us back to the question again of whether some Jews might be hated because of their faith, or because they are as okay with killing innocent people as you are.
Shutting down the government does not mean Jews cease existing. It instead means all people live as equals. Sure there would be violence to start but it simply needs to happen. People will die maintaining the current status quo too. So to put things on course to an amicable arrangement, dismantle the gov of Israel. It's otherwise described as a "one-state solution". I favor calling it Palestine. Jews do not need Israel. Many Jews don't want it to exist either.
Jews can stay put if they wish, though many as dual citizens can leave too.
Deaths are rare, but nonetheless tragic. I don't favor it, of course. I prefer Iran be a secular state. But the people of Iran need to choose their own course. At least the women there are not confined to a "Gaza Strip" as Palestinians are, so there is no two-tiered system of rights outside of gender. I wish the best for the Iranian people and hope they go for a gov that respects women much more. But I'm not going to hope they get nuked as many Zionists do.

If they weren't stealing other people's lands by force they wouldn't be so hated. It has nothing to do with the Bible, Muslims believe in the Old Testament as do Christians, all of whom got along in Palestine for centuries before the creation of the State of Israel in 1948. They were persecuted in Europe by Christians because of what they had done there locally. So no, it's not about the Bible. Yeah so does Israel. Israel is for the Jews. There never will be a Palestine. If the sicko muslims push what you said they will end up dead because Israel will defend itself. Israel can be dissolved peacefully. That in of itself doesn't require any death contrary to what you've implied of my statement to mean exterminating Jews. "Wiping Israel off the map" also, in fact, can be merely a political statement not meaning any death whatsoever, as maps show political boundaries only. But certainly 75 years of abuse of Palestinians by Israel/Israelis would have fallout. And it IS having fallout. Continuing the current status quo will also result in deaths anyway. So there is no long term turn of events that will mean no casualties, whether that's Israel continuing or not continuing to exist.
In a war situation which is what the Israel is and has been for a while. Muslims have routinely used "fishing" boats to camouflage their intentions of killing Israelites. I already said if someone is fishing they shouldn't be killed. That is obvious. I never said Israel is perfect they do stuff wrong just like the rest of us. Myself included.

I am sure he has no knowledge of the Balfour Declaration of 1917 which promised the Jews a national homeland in Palestine. At that time Palestine was an Ottoman area. Syria and Lebanon were part of the French Mandate and Palestine, Jordan and Iraq (Mesopotamia) were the British Mandate. Mesopotamia had large oil reserves.
