I think your archtype is "an encourger". The pics are good.

We were Bahaia da Los Angles several years ago. There were MASSIVE twenty ( I guess) pound squid on the beaches there.

By this I mean there were thousands of large squid, alive, on the beach.

I guess Long John Silvers would have known what to do.

Well, I am normeally the first on to a free BBQ, but these animals..... YA know they are SQUID!

The next day they were sushi, and I pass on sushi, esp. aged sushi.

The beach stunk for days.

This was around Bahia de Concepcion.

You dont like calamari?? I like it IF it's prepared well..otherwise it's like rubber bands..

Hmm wonder what wouldve caused all those squid to be beached?.. As hot as it is there I bet it really smelled.. and the birds mustve had more than their fill..

Had it once at a chain, and it was like a bowl of fried rubber bands. Well when you order squid in Colorado, you get what you deserve.

I woluld like to know why the squid beached, have no idea. It was something to see , tho.

They were big animals, 20 pounds or so I guess.

I love calamari, even when it's kind of rubbery!

No, no photos, can't remember why. And it did make quite the mess, and stink. Loose plans to drive back to Baja the fall, maybe I'll do a travel log.

Baja is great.

I did not take this photo, but this a good representation of Gonzaga Bay, a place many fly into, as the roads are "legendary".

One of our all time tops. Come prepared. Tho rumour is Fox's wife is buying up the beach front property for a mega development.

Sad to say, I find that easy to believe. A mile from here is all the isolation most would want. Having Alphonsina's Cantina at Gonzaga is a good thing.
